Our Mission

To Publish Catholic Books That Inform and Entertain

Established in 2001, Tumblar House was initially created to bring the writings of William L. Biersach to the public. Tumblar House is named after a special group of characters in the Father Baptist series known as the Knights Tumblar who embody the core values and beliefs of our organization. The name “Tumblar” is an amalgamation of the words “Templar” (as in the Knights Templar) and “tumbler” (as in the type of drinking glass). This represents the dichotomy of the group's lifestyle. On the one hand, they embody a new age of chivalry with their formal wear, defense of the Faith, and class. On the other hand, they love food, drink, and merriment in general, especially during feast days. In their own way, they show that the life entrusted to us by Christ should be enjoyed and celebrated.

When we publish Catholic novels, we do so with three distinct goals in mind:

1.) that each book will espouse values that serve as a type of moral gravity for the story.
2.) that each book will have integrity as a story. By this, we mean it will be highly stimulating, and in all likelihood, you will find yourself immersed in it.
3.) that each book will leave an indelible mark on the reader, powerfully reinforcing Catholic beliefs and lifestyles.

In addition to this we intend to expand into other forms of Catholic media on the web such as articles and video.

Please help us

We have a lot of big plans, but money issues severely limit what we're able to put out when it comes to both lounge articles and our books. Any financial aid you can give us will be met with our gratitude and appreciation. We will not forget. Thank you.
