Our Mission
In today's modern society, it can be especially challenging for Catholics to keep their faith. Social trends such as liberalism, Americanism, and materialism can still seep into our belief system despite our best efforts. Given the burgeoning growth of these secular trends, it's no surprise to find that many Catholics have either lost their faith or are desperately clinging to their faith by isolating themselves from secular society. Television, music, internet, and education are all areas which Catholic parents have to strongly consider. It's not uncommon now for families to home-school their children as well as strictly monitor the use of the television and computer. In addition to this, families have begun looking for safe sources of entertainment, especially for books and DVDs. Tumblar House hopes to become a company to which many Catholics will turn for intellectual stimulation.
Currently, our main focus is on producing Catholic novels, with three distinct goals in mind:
1.) that each book will espouse values which adhere to Catholic teaching, and will serve as a type of moral gravity for the story.
2.) that each book will have integrity as a story. By this, we mean it will be highly stimulating, and in all likelihood, you will find yourself immersed in it.
3.) that each book will leave an indelible mark on the reader, powerfully reinforcing Catholic beliefs and lifestyles
