Stacy Trasancos
Stacy A. Trasancos is a Catholic writer, scientist, editor, and teacher who also serves as editor emeritus of Catholic Stand, which she cofounded. She is a contributor to National Catholic Register, Integrated Catholic Life, and Strange Notions, teaches chemistry and physics classes and is department chair at Kolbe Academy, and serves as an adjunct professor at Holy Apostles College and Seminary and Seton Hall University. She is the author of Science Was Born of Christianity. She teaches, researches, and writes from her family's 100-year old restored lodge in the Adirondack mountains, where her husband and children (and two German Shepherds) remain her favorite priorities.
