Fr. Chad Ripperger

Fr. Chad Ripperger

Fr. Chad Ripperger, Ph.D. is a theologian, psychologist, Thomistic philosopher, and author of a number of traditional Catholic books. Father Ripperger was originally ordained in 1997, as a member of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP). He now has his own society, the Doloran Fathers, also known as the Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother, which is located in the archdiocese of Denver. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy and a master's degree in theology from Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut. Ripperger has developed a stellar reputation as a stalwart defender of Catholic tradition.

Fr. Ripperger's books (published by Sensus Traditionis) and lectures give a no-nonsense approach to the Faith, which many of the faithful see as a breath of fresh air. Tumblar House has recently republished an incredibly important lecture by Fr. Ripperger where he examines and seeks to improve the state of the Catholic traditionalist movement, which he believes currently has a lot of problems that are hindering its growth. If you would like to get in contact with Father Ripperger, the best way to do that would be to go to the Doloran Father's website.
