Blessed Carlo Acutis is an inspiring example for today’s teens and adolescents. Often called the unofficial patron saint of the internet, Carlo lived the life of an ordinary millennial who loved soccer, computers, and video games, yet he was deeply committed to Mass, confession, prayer, and helping others grow closer to Jesus.

Using his computer skills, Carlo created online resources to promote devotion to the Eucharist and to help others understand the beauty of Catholic teaching. Diagnosed with leukemia at age fifteen, he offered his suffering for the Church and for others. He died in 2006 and was beatified by Pope Francis in Assisi on October 10, 2020.

Carlo’s life shows that holiness is possible at any age, and that modern tools can be used powerfully for God’s glory.
