St. Maximilian Kolbe is one of the most beloved saints of modern times, remembered for his heroic sacrifice at Auschwitz when he offered his life to save another man. Yet behind that act of love stood a lifelong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom Kolbe called “the Immaculata.” He believed that by consecrating his life entirely to her, his will would be united perfectly to the will of God.
In Led by the Immaculata, Joshua Mazrin, a Kolbe devotee and Mariology expert, invites readers to follow St. Maximilian’s path of total Marian consecration and holiness.
Through accessible theology, inspiring insights, and practical direction, Mazrin:
Introduces readers to the life and spirituality of St. Maximilian Kolbe
Explains the meaning of consecration to Mary and the mission of the Knights of the Immaculata
Outlines fourteen clear and practical steps for living Marian consecration
Offers a day-by-day plan to complete the consecration process
Kolbe taught that complete surrender to Mary allows her to guide our hearts to the will of the Holy Spirit and to the heart of Jesus. He wanted this message shared worldwide through the Knights of the Immaculata, an apostolic movement dedicated to Marian consecration and evangelization.
Each step in this book combines Kolbe’s spiritual insights with modern application, making the path to holiness achievable for everyone, regardless of age or vocation. While Kolbe originally addressed men, his message applies equally to women and families seeking to live out Marian devotion in everyday life.
Led by the Immaculata is a guide for anyone who desires to grow closer to Jesus through Mary and to bring her message of love and surrender to the world.
