With over 250 years of proven inspirational guidance, this book provides seekers of serenity, spiritual peace and happiness a reliable path. It has been long acclaimed by many esteemed faith leaders including Dom David Knowles and Rabbi Joshua Chasan.

Puts you on a path to peace and happiness, as only the Lord gives

This is an essential spiritual classic that fits alongside Imitation of Christ, True Devotion to Mary, and Introduction to the Devout Life. The point of the book is quite simple: every single moment in your life has been foreordained by God to guide you on the path to salvation, so therefore we should humbly accept our daily crosses and burdens. I now use it as part of my repertoire for the spiritual life. Whenever I am moanin' and groanin' (which I do on a daily basis), I try to take a step back, and remember Caussade's words that God has purposefully put these crosses here for my own good. And He knows better than I do of what is good for me. This book will start you on a quest to be at peace with all of the good and bad in your life. In this way you unite yourself with God, which is the only path to achieve true happiness.
