Modern life moves fast—packed with work, classes, family, sports, and endless social commitments. In the midst of that noise, many still feel restless and disconnected, searching for peace and deeper purpose.

In Jesus, Make Me Fully Alive, Fr. Tim Anastos invites readers to rediscover the joy of prayer through Eucharistic Adoration. As associate chaplain at the St. John Paul II Newman Center in Chicago, he has seen firsthand how time spent with Jesus transforms anxiety, insecurity, and spiritual fatigue into love, freedom, and renewed life.

“Living in this world can easily drain us of life and joy, making us half alive, like zombies,” writes Fr. Anastos. “Holy Hours are not just for the pope or the saints or ‘holy people.’ They are meant for you.”

Whether you can spend a few minutes in intentional prayer or a full hour before the Blessed Sacrament, this book offers thirty guided Holy Hour exercises designed to help you encounter Christ personally. Each exercise includes practical tools and inspiration to deepen your prayer life, such as:

  • Real-life examples from Fr. Anastos’s own experience with Adoration

  • Simple ways to pray with Scripture through lectio divina

  • Imaginative prayer and spiritual journaling prompts for reflection before the Eucharist

Supported by the Eucharistic Revival movement and grounded in Catholic tradition, Jesus, Make Me Fully Alive is a fresh, approachable guide for anyone seeking a more vibrant and authentic friendship with Christ.
