The short little booklet known as St. Jude Thaddeus is important as it highlights many a good qualities from this Apostle of Christ. From the traditions surrounding his early life, curing of a king, converting many barbarians, fighting off magicians, breaking false idols, and receiving the crown of martyrdom from an angel of God, this most "loving" or "amiable" (as the surname Thaddeus means) Apostle has done many wonderous acts in the name of His Most Holy. So much so that he has his own Epistle in the New Testament as a sign of his good Faith. And this booklet contains that same epistle and notes to help the reader understand the Apostle's position. Also, his Mass and a handful of prayers are contained for even more about St. Jude Thaddeus. However, the single most important fact contained within these pages is the Apostle's most important role in the Church: that of being Patron Saint of Hopeless and Desperate Causes, which prior to this booklet, I knew nothing about. So, for such a small read, it sure packs a lot for one to understand the importance of St. Jude Thaddeus in our lives. 5 stars and highly recommend for the younger audience to start building a devotion at an early stage in life.
